Choir, band and orchestra concert schedule

The SAHS Music Department is one of the most accomplished in the state and is known nationally for performance excellence.  All three curricular areas of band, orchestra, and choir have won many awards and are consistently invited to festivals. Their performances are looked forward to by audiences both in and outside of our community.  The co-curricular performing groups associated with each curricular area are also held in very high regard.  They are listed below.

Theatre production schedule

During the school year, several theatre productions occur in the 500 seat state-of-the-art Stillwater Area High School Auditorium. Some performances feature only our high school students, others are open to junior high students and also community members.

On Tuesday, February 9 @ 7:00 pm there will be a parent/public performance of the Stillwater entry of One Act Play. The performance will be in the Auditorium and no tickets are required. A free will donation will be accepted at the door.

Our 2016 spring musical is "Anything Goes." There will be six performances over two weekends in the Auditorium: Friday and Saturday March 4-5 at 7:00 pm and a matinee at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 6 and Friday and Saturday March 11-12 at 7:00 pm and a matinee at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 13. The main character, Billy Crocker, is a stowaway aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. The story concerns the mapcap antics on the ship focusing on Billy's love of heiress Hope Harcourt who he met in a taxi. Come enjoy "Anything Goes," a funny musical which has been performed all over the world in many different cultures and societies. Ticket prices are $ 5 for students, $ 6 for senior citizens and $ 10 for adults. Ticket payment is cash or check only.Ticket sales will begin on Monday, February 1 in the SAHS Main Office.
