Lake Elmo Elementary

Our school is proud of its rich tradition of providing high quality instruction to all our students.  Lake Elmo Elementary School (LEE) was named after the town of Lake Elmo and dates back to 1918.  The school started with 80 students from first through eighth grade.  After a few structural additions over the years, our current enrollment is approximately 700 students from kindergarten to sixth grade.  The diversity of student body makes Lake Elmo an unique place to grown and learn.  Our talented staff is highly trained to meet the differentiated needs of students.  LEE offers a free, all-day, every day kindergarten program.  A new STEM program enhances the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics areas with SMART boards used in a number of our classrooms and media center to enhance the learning.

Lake Elmo is home to a dedicated and supportive PTA with numerous volunteers who contribute their time and talents to assist in the education of our students.

We invite you to visit our school, bring your questions, and explore our fabulous learning community.  Thank you for your interest in Lake Elmo Elementary School.
