Afton-Lakeland Studetns

Welcome to Afton-Lakeland Elementary

Welcome to the Afton-Lakeland Elementary School website.  We are located in the Stillwater Area Public Schools District, 1.5 miles south of Interstate 94, along the beautiful St. Croix River, on the border between the towns of Lakeland and Lakeland Shores.

Afton-Lakeland is home to 500 students in grades K-6.  With an outstanding staff supporting them, students are challenged and nurtured to thrive in all curriculum areas. A new STEM program enhances the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics areas. SMART Boards are used in many classrooms and in our media center to enhance the lessons.

At Afton-Lakeland, you will find great parent support, a strong PTA and a dedicated group of adults assisting students to thrive in an environment built upon strong relationships.

To get a sense of the school, we invite you to visit and see the school in action to get a true sense of the excellence in teaching and learning that takes place.  If you have any questions, please contact us.

Thank you for your interest in Afton-Lakeland Elementary School!
