Welcome to the District 834 ebackpack page. This school year we are launching a new “green” approach” to distributing information from non-profit organizations, intergovernmental agencies and our partners, for which approval is granted. Rather than sending flyers home via backpack mail or Friday Folders (which previously only took place at the elementary level), we are posting such information on the “ebackpack” webpage six times per calendar year for all to see. It is estimated that this change will save many hours each year in sorting, handling and distribution, as well as conserving other natural resources.

Stillwater Area Public Schools recognizes the role of non-profit organizations that serve youth and the ebackpack page is the place for youth and their families to find out about what is happening in our community and in our schools. We understand organizations need to distribute information to students regarding the programs they offer. As a school district, we must align with school board priorities, focusing resources, including staff time, on our main goal of improving student academic achievement. We must also comply with our data practices policy and advertising policy.

Groups wishing to submit information to be posted must do so by emailing a completed ebackpack Flyer Request Form and sending a PDF of the requested posting to ebackpack@stillwater.k12.mn.us at least 10 days in advance of the desired posting date deadline.

Prior to submitting, please read details regarding our distribution guidelines. The decision to post is at the discretion of District 834 administrators, based on our policy guidelines. Materials posted on this page are the responsibility of the organization represented, and endorsement by District 834 is neither direct nor implied.
