A challenge was sent out to all food service staff to improve upon customer service, enhance marketing efforts in their kitchens, and have some fun! Our staff worked together as a team to establish kitchen goals and then each employee also created an individual goal to support the kitchen efforts.
Then the fun started! There are two categories staff can enter their ideas:
individual (Fantastic Funslinger award) for outstanding customer service
team award (The terrific team award) for outstanding marketing and customer service activities.
We had many excellent entries in both categories of the competition from several school kitchens. In our eyes, they are ALL winners! A big thank you to all who participated in the contest!
